While addressing the media on Wednesday, Gohar Khan strongly criticised the Peshawar High Court's decision, calling it the "most brazen reflection of the ECP's partiality." He said that the party would escalate the matter to the apex court.
Speaking at a press conference in Karachi, Shehbaz Sharif said that the ECP's decision on PTI's intra-party elections was based on facts and questioned the Peshawar High Court's verdict. He asked how the PHC could announce decisions on matters related to the whole nation.
The decision of the PTI comes after the electoral watchdog declared its intra-party polls "void," which had declared Barrister Gohar Ali Khan as the party's new chairman.
