Haryana BJP President Om Prakash Dhankar on Sunday slammed the Congress for demanding a Joint Parliamentary Committee probe into the Adani issue and said that Congress is standing with the "external forces" which are weakening the country.
Making a fresh attack on the Central government over the Hindenburg-Adani controversy, Congress MP Rajni Patil on Friday demanded the formation of a Joint parliamentary committee (JPC) so that the truth could be revealed.
"Why are you (the government) running away from discussing the issue in both the houses of Parliament? We are demanding a probe by the Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) and if there is nothing then get it investigated," said CM Baghel.

Congress national president Mallikarjun Kharge on Friday reiterated his party's demand for a Joint Parliamentary Committee probe into the businesses of the Adani Group in the wake of the report by US short-seller firm Hindenburg Research.
