India's first vertical lift railway sea bridge is set to be inaugurated in Pamban, Rameswaram, a significant milestone in the country's railway infrastructure.
The Indian Railways, which is on the path of development, is now moving towards showcasing a classic example of an engineering marvel with the newly built Pamban Bridge.
In a bid to ensure the continued safety and reliability of one of India's most iconic rail structures, the Railway Board has established a dedicated committee to address the concerns raised by the Commissioner of Railway Safety (CRS) over the Pamban Bridge.
The historic Pamban Railway Bridge was opened on Monday and three ships crossed the bridge which attracted the attention of a large number of tourists who stood at the Pamban road bridge and enjoyed the spectacular view.
