Two more cases of monkeypox virus have been detected in Pakistan, raising further concerns following which the Pakistan government ordered strict surveillance and precautionary measures at all entry points, including airports, Express Tribune reported citing officials.
The Sindh health department surveillance team carried out an action at Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport during which three passengers who arrived in Karachi from Libya were diagnosed with monkeypox.
Islamabad [Pakistan], May 28 (ANI): Amid the rising risk of a monkeypox outbreak in Pakistan, the Pakistan Health ministry on Saturday said that the country has no facility for diagnostic tests for the virus.
