The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Friday confirmed the support staff of the Pakistan men’s team for the forthcoming three One-Day Internationals against Afghanistan in Sri Lanka from August 22 to 26 and ACC Asia Cup to be held in Pakistan and Sri Lanka from August 30 to September 17.

The BCCI had recently refused to travel to Pakistan for Asia Cup 2023 citing Indian government clearance on security issues. This forced the Pakistan Cricket Board to host in a hybrid model where four matches will be held in Pakistan and the rest of the matches in Sri Lanka.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has written to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and the country's Interior and the Foreign Ministry for official clearance to travel to India for the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup in October-November, according to ESPNcricinfo.
