The ongoing protest by the Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC) against atrocities committed by Pakistan security forces on the Baloch people has entered its 9th day. The BYC said that the sit-in will continue until they get justice.

Baloch activist Manzoor Baloch has criticised Pakistani security forces for mistreating peaceful Baloch sit-in protesters who were demonstrating against atrocities by the Pakistani state and its security forces.
Baloch activist Mahrang Baloch on Sunday, urged the Pakistan authorities to reopen the major highways, restore internet and mobile services immediately and fulfil the other demands of Baloch protesters.
"The BYC believes that the state prefers the use of force over negotiations. Therefore, on the one hand, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Gwadar has been sent to negotiate with us, while on the other hand, the worst kind of force is being used," the BYC said in a statement on X.
The Pakistani defence forces have allegedly issued threats to the leaders of the Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC), warning that they will be shot dead if the sit-in at Gwadar is not ended soon, The Balochistan Post (TBP) reported.
The members of the Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC) organised a vigil on Sunday to honour the people who had lost their lives due to the brutalities of the Pakistani defence forces on the sidelines of the Baloch Raaji Muchi.
As the crackdown by Pakistani defence forces on protestors continue to intensify, members of the Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC) alleged that the Karachi police had lodged "bogus complaints" against the Baloch protesters.
Baloch activist Mahrang Baloch has urged the United Nations and other rights groups, including Human Rights Watch (HRW) and the Human Rights Commission of Pakistan (HRCP) to intervene and stop the "political misadventure by the state of Pakistan."
Stressing that Pakistan continues to intensify its use of force and violence, the BYC said that peaceful protesters have been arrested from Quetta and Karachi and subjected to violence.
