Taking to his official Twitter handle, Shehbaz Sharif said that Imran Khan's statement regarding the Pakistan army chief shows his "diseased and obsessive mindset."
Imran Khan said that he has never made disparaging remarks about COAS General Asim Munir. He swore to maintain a good relationship with the army commander, after coming to power.
"The campaign against the army chief is intolerable and a continuation of the conspiracy against the institutions," he said in a statement issued by the Prime Minister's Office (PMO).
