Karnataka Minister for Labour Santosh Lad on Wednesday reached Srinagar to oversee arrangements for the return of the mortal remains of Manjunath Rao, a Shivamogga resident who lost his life in the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir.
"This is a very sad incident. In the last three months, more than five lakh tourists have visited Kashmir. If we look at all these issues, the situation in Kashmir was very well managed, but this cowardly act by Pakistan is intolerable," Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Gupta told ANI.
Karnataka Minister Santosh Lad arrived in Srinagar to coordinate on behalf of the Siddaramaiah government. The ministers and officials from other states were also seen on the field.
