Border Security Force (BSF) has recovered a drone with one packet, suspected to be Narcotics from a paddy field in the Kalsian Khurd area of Tarn Taran District of Punjab.
"Troops recovered 3 packets of narcotics, wrapped with yellow adhesive tape, suspected to be heroin (Gross weight - appx 1.540 Kg) along the border fence. A purple colour polyester bag was also found ahead of the border fence," the statement said.
In a joint operation Border Security Force (BSF) and Punjab Police, on Tuesday afternoon apprehended one suspected person and recovered two packets of narcotics suspected heroin near Daoke village in Punjab’s Amritsar.
"Today a dead rat was found in one of the breakfast packets from the meals supplied to the police assigned for duty in the ongoing Bengaluru Bandh and protests in the Cauvery water dispute," said Joint Commissioner of Traffic Police Anucheth.
According to DCP Nagpur Police Vijaykant Sagar, the couple living in the house in Atharva Nagri on Besa-Pipla Road, had brought the girl for work. They locked the girl in the bathroom and left, leaving some bread packets for her to eat.
During the search, troops recovered six packets of narcotics suspected to be heroin (approximately 6.3 kg) and one packet of suspected opium (approximately 70 gram), concealed inside a 12-volt battery and kept in the vicinity of the international border, ahead of border fencing.
The Border Security Force (BSF), in a joint operation with Punjab Police, recovered three packets of a narcotics substance weighing around 3 kilograms from the outskirts of Machiwara Village in Ferozepur district of Punjab on Sunday morning, according to an official statement.

Around 40,000 food packets are being prepared to be supplied to the people in areas affected by floods, Punjab Food Supplies Minister Lal Chand Kataruchak said on Thursday.
