After the successful mission of Chandrayaan-3 and Aditya L1, India is now looking at human exploration in space. Chandrayaan-3 Project director, P Veeramuthuvel while speaking on the Gaganyaan mission, said that a roadmap is there and the launch will be soon.
In recognition of the significant contributions made by space scientists from Tamil Nadu to the nation, Chief Minister MK Stalin has announced an award of Rs 25 lakh for each of the nine scientists affiliated with the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) from Tamil Nadu.
As Chandrayaan-3 landed successfully on the South Pole of the moon, making India the first country to reach that particular area, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin on Wednesday dialled Chandrayaan-3 project director P Veeramuthuvel and congratulated him.
"Today Chandrayaan-3 very successfully landed. So this happiness goes to each and every person in India as well as Tamil Nadu. So I am very very happy. My son worked hard. As a father, I am sharing the happiness with you. I am very happy," Chandrayaan-3 project director P Veeramuthuvel's fat
