On Sunday, the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) experienced an internal division as senior leader Ajit Pawar joined the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) along with a group of MLAs.

In a bizarre comparison, 'Saamna', the official newspaper of the Uddhav Thackeray faction on Monday termed the opposition meeting of June 23 as the "Wagner Group of India" and asserted that it will dislodge the Narendra Modi-led BJP government at the centre in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

While speaking to ANI, Giriraj Singh, referring to RJD leader Lalu Yadav's suggestion to Rahul Gandhi to get married, said that the meeting was nothing but a photo session.
"The stage (opposition meeting) is set, and the drama troupe has assembled (Rang Manch Saj Chuka Hai...Natak Mandli Ekatrit Ho Chuki Hai). The most corrupt leaders join the set-up," said Anurag Thakur while speaking to reporters in Haryana's Panipat.
