Opposition MPs including Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi held a protest in the Parliament premises against Union Home Minister Amit Shah's remarks on Babasaheb Ambedkar in the Rajya Sabha during the Constitution debate.
Congress leader and Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition, Rahul Gandhi, on Wednesday, slammed the government and alleged that prioritising crony businesses over fair play is weakening the economy, as shown in the various indicators.
This comes as the opposition carries out protests at the Parliament premises over the remarks made by Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Rajya Sabha regarding Babasaheb Ambedkar.
"We have opposed this. This is an attempt to destroy our country's federal structure. This bill has been introduced so that the political power of the states and country remains with one person...The party that spends the most money in elections would be BJP," Raut told reporters.
