The Biden administration on Thursday imposed sanctions and visa restrictions on four Russian operatives involved in the 2020 poisoning of Russian opposition leader Alexey Navalny, CNN reported.
In a joint operation with central agencies, Punjab Police have arrested a total of eight people, planning to disturb the peace and harmony of the border state, in two separate cases, officials said on Monday.
Manpreet Singh alias Peeta and Mandeep Singh were both ‘wanted’ close operatives of Dala and had non-bailable arrest warrants against them for carrying out terror acts, including threats and intimidation, and terror funding for banned terrorist organisations in India.

Twelve terrorists were killed during a two-day Israeli incursion in the Jenin refugee camp in early July. Israeli security forces seized a large quantity of military equipment and weaponry in the Jenin camp and surrounding areas, including bombs, ammunition and guns.

The three are Harwinder Singh Sandhu alias Rinda of BKI, Arshdeep Singh alias Arsh Dala of KTF and Lakhbir Singh Sandhu alias Landa of BKI, (all based abroad), for creating their own networks of operatives to carry out terror activities in India.
The DGP tweeted, "In a major breakthrough against trans-border illegal arms smuggling networks, AGTF, in a joint operation with Bathinda Police, arrested Baljinder Singh alias Bindri, a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldy Brar gangs, along with his three operatives".
