One terrorist was killed in an encounter with security forces and war-like stores were recovered in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama district, the Indian Army said on Friday.
One terrorist killed in the ongoing encounter between terrorists and joint forces of the Army and J-K Police in the Bajimaal area of Dharmsal in the Rajouri district entered its second day on Thursday.
According to Jammu and Kashmir Police, the encounter broke out after the Indian Army and other security forces launched a joint operation in the Budhal area of Rajouri district.
Two soldiers and one terrorist were killed in an exchange of fire between security forces and terrorists in the Mir Ali area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's North Waziristan district.
"Shopian Encounter Update: One terrorist affiliated with the proscribed terror outfit TRF was neutralised. Incriminating materials, including arms and ammunition, were recovered. The search is going on," the Kashmir Zone Police posted on X.
"In a joint operation that commenced yesterday, Army and Kupwara Police have successfully foiled an infiltration attempt in Jumagund area of Keran sector in which one terrorist has been killed. Search operation continues," posted Kashmir Zone Police on X.
Based on intelligence inputs being received since the last operation on September 4, wherein one terrorist was neutralised, large-scale operations have been in progress in the region to keep the terrorists on the run.
One terrorist was killed in a joint operation conducted by the Indian Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police in the Reasi district, an official statement said on Tuesday.
A search operation is underway in Jammu and Kashmir's Reasi on Tuesday after one terrorist was killed and one police personnel was injured in an encounter with security forces on Monday.
One terrorist was shot dead and the other was injured as infiltration bid was foiled in Poonch sector. Security forces recovered arms and ammunition from the terrorist killed along the Line of Control (LoC) here on Monday.
