Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Friday, demanded the Old Pension Scheme (OPS), which is already implemented in Rajasthan, should be implemented across the country.

A Punjab government spokesperson said the state government will be contributing proactively towards creation of a pension corpus which will service the pension in future to the beneficiaries of the scheme.
In a release on Monday, the state police said a total of 232 Flying Squads and an equal number of Static Surveillance Teams were deployed across the state to cut out threats of any untoward incidents, after the notification of the polling date.
