The newly-formed Rajasthan government has transferred 72 Indian Administrative Service officers and 121 Rajasthan Administrative Service officers, in the first major administrative reshuffle in Rajasthan after the Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma-led BJP came to power in the state.
In an administrative reshuffle, the Himachal Pradesh government transferred eight 2021 batch HPAS (Himachal Pradesh Administrative Service) officers with immediate effect on Friday.
Pawan Kumar, Superintendent of Police (SP), Anti Narcotics Task Force at Headquarters Lucknow will now be Deputy Commissioner of Police Prayagraj. Suniti currently appointed as SP at Administration, Headquarters DGP, Lucknow has been made DCP Noida, Gautambuddhnagar.
"The government of Himachal Pradesh has ordered the transfer of 21 police officers including 16 state police services and two State administrative HAS officers has also been transferred," a release said.
In a major administrative reshuffle in Rajasthan, seven Indian Administrative Service (IAS) and 30 Indian Police Service (IPS) officers have been transferred.
Further recalling the basic constitutional workings, the Congress leader who is also an advocate called it an 'unconstitutional ordinance' and said that Constitutional principles can only be changed by Constitutional amendments, and not by ordinance.
Vinay Shankar Pandey has been made the Secretary to the Chief Minister and MSME and Investment Commissioner. The DMs of 3 districts Haridwar, Nainital and Almora have been changed, the order read.
