State Finance Minister, Niranjan Pujari presented annual Budget for 2023-24 in the Odisha Legislative Assembly with an outlay of Rs 2,30,000 crore, which is about 15 percent more than the Annual Budget of 2022-23.
The 12th budget session of the 16th legislative assembly will commence at 11 am on Thursday in the assembly building at Bhubaneshwar, as directed by the Governor of Odisha, Ganeshi Lal.
As per the press statement from the government "The budgetary allocation includes Administrative Expenditure of Rs 4,934 crore, Programme Expenditure of Rs 9,200 crore, Disaster Response Funds Rs 2,610.46 crore and Transfers from the State of Rs 55.54 crore"
