Mohan Charan Majhi, the chief minister of Odisha, announced on Thursday that the BJP government will present its first budget in the assembly on July 25. This budget will give the people and communities of the state more power.
"Chief Minister Majhi expressed deep grief over the death of a devotee named Lalitha Bagarti of Saitala block of Balangir district due to the crowd during the procession today and expressed his condolences to the bereaved family," read the post by the Chief Minister's Office (CMO).
Odisha Chief Minister and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Mohan Charan Majhi, along with Deputy Chief Ministers KV Singh Deo and Pravati Parida, took part in a cleanliness drive in Puri on Saturday, ahead of the start of the annual Shri Jagannath Yatra.
According to an official release, "Odisha CM Mohan Charan Majhi met with Odisha Law Minister Prithviraj Harichandan in Bhubaneswar. They had a discussion about the peaceful and smooth completion of the upcoming Rath Yatra."
"Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, along with Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, Deputy CM Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo, Pravati Parida, and senior officials, reviewed the progress of ongoing National Highway projects in the state of Odisha, in Delhi today," stated Nitin Gadkari's Office.
Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi visited his home in Raikela village in the Kendujhar district on Monday and met with his mother. This is Majhi's first visit to his home in the village after he became the Chief Minister of Odisha.
