A Russian missile struck close to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis while they were visiting the Black Sea port city of Odesa on Wednesday, CNN reported.
The death toll from the Russian drone attack in Ukraine's Odesa city rose to 10, a figure which includes two babies, CNN reported citing Ukrainian officials on Sunday.
As the second anniversary of the Russia-Ukraine conflict approaches, three civilians were killed in a Russian drone attack against Odesa on Friday, as reported by the Kyiv Independent.
Amid escalating conflict, both Moscow and Kyiv blamed each other as several people were killed in different strikes in the Odesa region in Ukraine and Donetsk region --under Russian control after the war, Al Jazeera reported.

The attack targeted critical infrastructure, including the historic Odesa Fine Arts Museum, and raised concerns about escalating tensions in the region.

The US has condemned the Russian drone attacks on Ukrainian ports in Odesa, calling it “unacceptable” and also called Moscow to “immediately return” to the Black Sea Grain initiative.
Russian forces launched a drone attack and damaged a port on the Danube River in Ukraine's southern Odesa region overnight, a Ukrainian official said on Wednesday.
Hitting out at Russia, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the attacks on Odesa port infrastructure showed Moscow’s intention of creating a “global catastrophe”, Al Jazeera reported on Wednesday.
