Union Defence Minister and BJP observer for Rajasthan, Rajnath Singh on Tuesday arrived to attend the legislature party meeting which is likely to decide on the name for the new Chief Minister in the state today.
"The Legislature Party meeting will happen today. The Observers will reach today...Everything will be clear by 5 pm today...I am not in this race (to become the CM)," said Rajasthan BJP Chief C P Joshi.

All BJP MLAs have been called to Jaipur at 11:00 am, and the registration of MLAs will take place before the meeting. One-to-one interactions with party-appointed observers will follow.
The meeting will be organised under the supervision of BJP observers for Madhya Pradesh, Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar, BJP MP K Laxman and party leader Asha Lakra here at the party office.
BJP central observers Arjun Munda who has reached Raipur amid suspense over the party's Chief Minister candidate in Chhattisgarh said that "there will be a meeting of the legislative party and the leader will be chosen."

The meeting is scheduled to be held at the state BJP office here at around 4 pm under the supervision of the three central observers appointed by the party.
Amid suspense over the Cheif Minister's post, Bharatiya Janata Party on Thursday announced its Central observers in their recently won states--Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.
Sources from the party said that the meeting took place late at night on Tuesday. The three Rajasthan Congress observers briefed Kharge about the Congress Legislature Party (CLP) meeting in Jaipur held on the same day.
"90 returning officers, 416 assistant returning officers, 4596 enumerators, and 1699 micro-observers have been appointed for the counting process. The Election Commission of India has appointed 90 counting observers for the 90 assembly constituencies," read the ECI release.
Ahead of the counting of votes for four states tomorrow, the Congress Party has appointed AICC (All India Congress Committee) observers to coordinate the meetings of the Congress Legislature Party (CLP) in four key states: Rajasthan, Telangana, Chhattisgarh, and Madhya Pradesh.
