Fadnavis is scheduled to take oath as the Chief Minister after being unanimously chosen as Leader of Maharashtra BJP Legislative Party earlier today. Fadnavis, Shinde and Pawar called on Governor CP Radhakrishnan to stake claim to form the Mahayuti government.
Pawar, in response to Shinde's reply said, "Sham tak unka samaj aayega (We will know about Shinde by evening), I will take it (oath), I will not wait." Shinde then said, "Dada (Ajit Pawar) has experience of taking (oath) both in the morning and evening."

"We have already fought elections under his leadership. I want to congratulate him. He will take oath as the Chief Minister very soon. I invite everyone to attend the oath-taking ceremony..." Tiwari told ANI.
Names of other cabinet ministers will be finalised soon after discussions with partners in the Mahayuti alliance- the Shiv Sena (Eknath Shinde) and the Nationalist Congress Party (Ajit Pawar), said the Union Minister.
Mahayuti alliance leaders visited Mumbai's Azad Maidan to oversee preparations for the oath-taking ceremony of the new Chief Minister on December 5. The event will be attended by senior NDA leaders, Chief Ministers, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
