North India's first nuclear power plant will come up in Haryana in the village of Gorakhpur in Fatehabad district, 150 km north of the national capital, Union Minister of State for Science and Technology Jitendra Singh has said.
The Chinese government has said that they have agreed to provide finance for up to 85 per cent of the USD 3.7 billion nuclear power plant project, subject to the sovereign guarantee.
"According to the Director of the Russian Foreign intelligence service, they received reliable data that Ukrainian armed forces are storing weapons and ammunition provided by the West on the territories of nuclear power plants in Ukraine," the RT reporter said.
The Director General will travel to the South Ukraine and Rivne Nuclear Power Plants (NPPs) as well as to the Chornobyl site to launch the missions consisting of two IAEA experts at each of the facilities.
"India tried to defuse the situation around the Zaporizhia nuclear power plant. Points, we have already helped - very quietly on the grain deal," Jaishankar said according to Die Presse.

Security arrangements are in place to secure India's nuclear power plant systems from cyber-attack, said Union Minister of State for Science and Technology, Jitendra Singh on Thursday.
The Minister said in addition to the eleven reactors -- with a capacity of 8700 MW -- under construction, the government has accorded administrative approval and financial sanction for construction of 10 indigenous 700 MW pressurised heavy water reactors (PHWRs) to be set up in fleet mode.
