On Friday, The S&P BSE Sensex was gained 123.38 points or 0.20 per cent to 62,027.90. The Nifty 50 index added 17.80 points or 0.1 per cent to 18,314.80.
Strength in Indian stock indices continued from the past few sessions which opened in the green on Thursday, but was limited as US Fed in its fight against inflation raised interest rates by another 25 basis points.
Indian stocks opened largely steady on Wednesday, but volatility seems to have remained. At the time of writing this report, the benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty were about 0.1 per cent lower each.
The software giant had announced its corporate earnings on Monday. In a span of five days, the shares of the company declined 0.69 per cent while it dipped 0.20 per cent in a span of 30 days.
