With the Kharif sowing season approaching, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai chaired a high-level review meeting at Mahanadi Bhawan on Tuesday to assess the availability and distribution of fertilisers and seeds across the state.
While addressing the media, Union Minister said," The government of India in last 9 budgets has spent more than Rs 1 lakh crores towards fertilizer subsidy to ensure that the farmers are insulated from the fluctuations of the market price of Urea and NPK Fertilisers."
