The Indian Meteriological Department (IMD) has issued a nowcast warning until 10 am in Mumbai, issuing an orange alert as the city has been experiencing heavy rain on Friday morning, July 12.
Light to moderate spells of rain are very likely to occur at isolated places in several districts of Tamil Nadu during the next three hours, said a nowcast warning issued by the Regional Meteorological Centre on Saturday.
RK Jenamani, IMD scientist said: "Heavy to very heavy rainfall is continuing over Saurashtra-Kutch region, Madhya Maharashtra and Goa also. There is an alert for heavy rains in Maharashtra.
