Delhi police on Tuesday said that a person was deceived and cheated recently in October when he received a WhatsApp call in which an impersonator claimed that his nephew was abducted and an amount of Rs 50,000 had to be transferred for his release.
The Delhi Police was informed about the incident on December 6 at 4:23 pm. The house break took place at MIG Flats in North East Delhi's Jyoti Nagar, police said.
