A fire broke out inside the basement of Town Square Mall in Jammu and Kashmir's Srinagar on Wednesday morning, said an official. No loss of life was reported in the incident.
The incident took place in the Tosh area of Manikaran early on Tuesday morning and no loss of life was reported, Deputy Commissioner, Kullu, Torul S Raveesh said, adding that a team was sent to the spot to assess the situation.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Rudraprayag, Dr Vishakha Ashok Bhadane told ANI, "There was an avalanche from above Gandhi Sarovar in Kedarnath at around 5 am today. But there has been no loss of life or property."
There was no loss of life in the fire incident. "At the time of the fire, three employees were present in the factory, who were evacuated safely," Chief Fire Officer (CFO) Rahul Kumar told ANI.
According to police sources, the militants first tortured the watchman of the school and later blew up two rooms of the building. There was, however, no loss of life in the explosion.
As of now, no loss of life has been reported in the earthquake of magnitude 5.3 on the Richter scale that struck Himachal Pradesh's Chamba area on Thursday, said the Chief Secretary of the state, Prabodh Saxena.
