A massive fire broke out at a factory in the Dhaulana area of Hapur district in Uttar Pradesh on Sunday evening, officials said. Firefighting operations are currently underway.
"More than 100 of our firemen and over 30 of our fire units are present at the spot... We are making every effort... So far, there is no information on any casualties. The fire will be brought under control very soon...," Deputy Chief Fire Officer said.
Firefighters responded promptly, dispatching four trucks initially and calling in reinforcements from Noida and Hapur. CFO Rahul Pal reported the fire was brought under control within half an hour, with no casualties.
Ten fire tenders were rushed to the spot and the blaze was brought under control. No casualties have been reported so far, and the exact cause of the explosion is yet to be ascertained, according to officials.
A fire broke out in the cellar of a Narayana school building in Miyapur, prompting a swift response from fire officials. One fire vehicle from Kukatpally arrived at the scene and brought the fire under control, Hyderabad fire officials said.
