Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Nishikant Dubey on Monday wrote a letter to Union IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw and Union Minister of State (MoS) IT Rajeev Chandrashekhar making "cash for query" allegations against Trinamool Congress MP Mahua Moitra and demanding an inquiry committee again
The privilege committee should do an immediate investigation of this because the duration of Parliament is going to end in the next few months, said Suvendu Adhikari.
"Today this yatra is being taken out so that we can get the Scheduled Caste status soon. Till 1951, we were recognised as a Scheduled Tribe. We were put in the backward class group and betrayed," the Minister said while speaking to reporters.
"This is unfortunate... It is not right to betray people's beliefs, to weaken democracy, and to sell your conscience for money. Such people are not fit for the Parliament. An investigation should be done," Vijay Kumar Sinha told ANI.
Talking to ANI, Rawat said, "They are nothing but BJP's gimmicks to defame the opposition. They are misusing their majority and creating an atmosphere of terror."
Hours after Lok Sabha MP Nishikant Dubey levelled "cash for query" allegations against Mahua Moitra, Bharatiya Janata Party leader Agnimitra Paul on Sunday demanded an investigation into the matter and said that the party wants to know whether the Trinamool Congress MP has taken a bribe.
