For the sixth consecutive year, IIT Madras has topped the National Institutional Ranking Framework in the overall category, while IISc Bengaluru has retained the first position in the university category.
In the university category at the national level, DU had previously moved up two spots to reach the 11th position last year. This year, the university continued its upward trajectory, also climbing seven places in the overall ranking to secure the 15th spot.
The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras has once again clinched the top position in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2024, marking the sixth consecutive year at the pinnacle of the rankings.
IIT Madras has been ranked the best higher educational institution in India followed by IISc Bengaluru and IIT Bombay in an overall category in the ranking conducted by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) and National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF).
