Union Home Minister Amit Shah chaired another round of high-level security review meeting on Tuesday to assess the situation following the deadly blast in Delhi that claimed eight lives and left several others injured a day ago.
"The Police is alert following the incident that occurred in Delhi yesterday, to ensure no such incident happens in Bihar. The international border along Bihar has been sealed for the past 72 hours in view of the elections," DGP Kumar told ANI here on Tuesday afternoon.
Following the explosion, Shah directed a multi-agency investigation involving the NIA, National Security Guard (NSG), Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL), and Delhi Police to determine the cause, nature, and source of the explosives.
The meeting is scheduled to take place at 11 am at the Home Minister's residence. It will be attended by Home Secretary Govind Mohan, Director of the Intelligence Bureau Tapan Deka, Director General of the National Investigation Agency (NIA) Sadanand Vasant Date, and Delhi Police Commissi
