An earthquake of magnitude 4.3 on the Richter Scale, a second in less than 24 hours jolted Nepal on Sunday, according to the National Center for Seismology (NCS).
An earthquake of magnitude 4.9 on the Richter Scale struck Nepal on Saturday, the National Centre of Seismology (NCS) informed through a post on social media 'X'.
Many people, especially office-goers, were spotted rushing out of their workplaces after strong tremors from earthquakes epicentered in Nepal shook the national capital and adjoining areas.
Two earthquakes of magnitude 6.2 and 4.6 on the Richter Scale striked Nepal on Tuesday, with tremors felt in large parts of India, the National Centre for Seismology (NCS) reported.
"Earthquake of Magnitude:4.5, Occurred on 01-04-2023, 11:12:30 IST, Lat: 27.65 & Long: 85.60, Depth: 178 Km, Location: 28km ESE of Kathmandu, Nepal," National Center for Seismology tweeted.
The quake occurred around Bichhiya of Bajura district at 13:45 (local time), the National Earthquake Monitoring & Research Center (NEMRC), Nepal said in a tweet.
Acclaimed globally after Japan's triple disaster in 2011 and Nepal earthquake in 2015, the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) has been given the task for the fourth time since its inception to handle the tragedy of the massive earthquake in Turkey, which has claimed over 4,000 lives
