The congratulatory message comes following PM Modi's swearing-in ceremony, attended by leaders from India's neighbouring countries and the Indian Ocean region, showcasing India's 'Neighbourhood First' policy.

PM Tobgay is among the distinguished guests set to attend the eagerly awaited ceremony in which BJP leader Modi will be sworn in as the Prime Minister of India for the third consecutive time.
Additionally, the MEA mentioned that besides participating in the swearing-in ceremony, the leaders will also grace a Banquet hosted by President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan, later in the same evening.
"Being at the geographical, demographic and increasingly economic centre of Asia, India's choices will have increasingly important consequences," Jaishankar said.
" Prime Minister Narendra Modi will pay a State visit to Bhutan from 21-22 March 2024. The visit is in keeping with the tradition of regular high-level exchanges between India and Bhutan and the Government's emphasis on its Neighbourhood First Policy," ministry said.
As Sri Lanka's battle against economic crisis remains persistent, India's assistance to the island nation gives the country an anchorage to hold its boat under its 'neighbourhood first' policy.
With an epicentre at Chitlang of Makwanpur district in the Himalayan nation, the quake was recorded at around 1:20 am (local time), however, no casualties were reported.
