The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Friday registered a case against officials of the Primary Education Department in Haryana, alleging the fake admission of 4,00,000 students in government schools across the state between 2014 and 2016.
"The duo, Dr Ehsaan Ul Haq and Imtiaz Alam, were working as the principal and vice principal of the Oasis School in Jharkhand's Hazaribagh," CBI sources said.

Amid the row over NEET-NTA, Congress MP Syed Naseer Hussain on Friday gave a suspension of Business Notice under Rule 267 in Rajya Sabha to discuss cases of paper leaks in the conduct of exams, including NEET-UG and UGC NET for July 28, 2024.
