Tamil Nadu leader R Sarathkumar on Friday asserted that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) remains unaffected by former Chief Minister O Panneerselvam's decision to join the DMK-led camp.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Madurai on March 1 to participate in a National Democratic Alliance (NDA) election campaign public meeting, with preparations currently underway in full swing across the city.
"We are not slaves to your threats. We won't fear. We are fighting for the victory of Tamil Nadu, and DMK will never bow down before BJP," Stalin declared.
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Tamilisai Soundararajan on Thursday expressed confidence in the success of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in Tamil Nadu ahead of the upcoming assembly elections.

"Our NDA alliance is getting ready. On January 23rd, we had an all-NDA public meeting, and a huge rally was held there. And coming 1st of March, our respected Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji is coming to Madurai, and he is addressing the public meeting," Murugan told ANI.
Addressing an event, the Chief Minister said, "You have entrusted your future to me with confidence. I will certainly remain true to that trust. I am working tirelessly, in fact, beyond my own strength. I am working not only for those who voted for me, but also for those who did not. But
"After the DMK came to power, there was a delay of nearly one year in granting permission to cut trees required for the construction work of AIIMS Madurai... The ruling party neither executes projects efficiently nor allows others to do so," Annamalai claimed.
Amma Makkal Munnettra Kazhagam (AMMK) General Secretary TTV Dhinakaran said that there is uncertainity betwen DMK and Congress in Tamil Nadu and claimed that the opposition is spreading false claims about NDA's stability to distract attention from their own alliance issues.
National President of IJK Party and Chairman of SRM Groups, Ravi Pachamuthu questioned whether actor-turned-politician Vijay's Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) Party cadres have the guts to face the established parties like DMK, ADMK or NDA alliance in the upcoming Tamil Nadu elections.
All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK), Deputy Secretary, Propaganda, Gautami Tadimalla, on Tuesday, stated that there could be political implications for expelled AIADMK leader VK Sasikala on launching a political party right before the elections.
