Speaking shortly after the oath ceremony in Patna, Nishant Kumar said the people of Bihar had once again expressed faith in the leadership of Nitish Kumar and the NDA alliance and stressed that the alliance remained committed to delivering on its development-oriented agenda.
Union Minister Nitin Gadkari on Thursday extended warm congratulations to Nitish Kumar on taking oath as the Chief Minister of Bihar, along with Samrat Choudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha, who have sworn in as Deputy Chief Ministers in the newly formed NDA government.
Janata Dal (United) chief Nitish Kumar also took oath as Bihar Chief Minister for a record 10th time. A total of 25 leaders, apart from Nitish Kumar, took oath as part of the new NDA-led Bihar Cabinet.
Soon after Nitish Kumar took oath as Bihar Chief Minister, Bharatiya Janata Party leaders Samrat Choudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha on Thursday took oaths as Bihar Cabinet Ministers.
Nitish Kumar was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Bihar for a record 10th time at a grand ceremony held at Gandhi Maidan on Sunday, marking a historic moment in the state's political landscape. His son, Nishant Kumar, congratulated him and the public for this honour.
"I congratulate Nitish Kumar on becoming the Chief Minister once again. I also congratulate the people of Bihar as good governance will be established there," CM Sai said while interacting with journalists.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and other prominent leaders of the NDA attended the swearing-in ceremony. The PM had skipped the swearing-in ceremony in the year 2020.

Speaking to ANI ahead of the swearing-in ceremony, Sinha said, "The people of Bihar have given their mandate to the double engine government, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Nitish Kumar."
BJP leader Nitin Nabin also hailed the NDA win and said that it is a matter of pride for everyone that Nitish Kumar will take the oath as the CM for the 10th time.
Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, and Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio arrived at Patna Airport today to participate in the swearing-in ceremony of Nitish Kumar at Gandhi Maidan.
