National Conference President Farooq Abdullah on Friday said that the party will meet the Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Saturday and ask him for the date the forming the government.

Indian businessman and philanthropist Ratan Tata who adopted a stray dog, Goa during one of his visits to the city was brought to the National Centre for Performing Arts (NCPA) on Thursday to pay last respects to Tata after he passed away on October 9 at the age of 86.
Speaking to ANI, Shaina NC says, "Ratan Tata ji was a gem of India. There are three aspects about which people don't know - first was his simplicity, second was his generosity and the third was his compassion for animals. This shows the complete man."
"Ratan Tata is one of the few who earned immense respect from people, not only as an industrialist but also as a business leader. It is sad that he has passed away," said Bharadwaj.
"We will request the members of the public to enter NCPA Lawns from Gate 3 and the exit will be at Gate 2. There will be no parking available at the premises," a statement by Tata Trust said.
A day after the Congress-NC alliance emerged victorious in the Jammu and Kashmir assembly elections, Jammu and Kashmir National Conference MP Ruhullah Mehdi on Wednesday asserted that the process for forming the government has begun.
