Days after the swearing-in of a new government Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini retained key departments, including home and finance, as cabinet portfolios were allocated to the Council of Ministers on Sunday.
This comes after Atishi launched a scathing attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), accusing it of playing "dirty politics" which she claims is the real cause behind both air and water pollution in the city.
Haryana Cabinet on Friday approved the recommendations of the Haryana Scheduled Castes Commission's report to divide the reservation for Scheduled Castes after the decision of the Supreme Court and also approved it to append to the rules of Business of the State Government.
Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) Nayab Singh Saini on Friday took charge as the Chief Minister of Haryana at the Haryana Civil Secretariat in Chandigarh.

Nayab Singh Saini was administered the oath of office by Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatreya, marking his second term as Chief Minister of Haryana. His council of ministers was also sworn in during the ceremony.
As BJP MLA Shruti Choudhry took oath as a cabinet minister, her mother BJP MP Kiran Choudhry said that she would work honestly for social welfare and take forward the policies of the BJP. In the new cabinet, 13 legislators have been inducted including two women.

Governor Governor Bandaru Dattatreya administered the oath of office to Nayab Saini and his council of ministers in the ceremony held at Dussehra Ground in Sector 5, Panchkula.
