Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Tuesday reviewed district-level public grievance redressal programmes conducted by the Chief Minister's Office at the district levels. More than 18,000 petitions have been received from various districts.
Odisha Cabinet on Monday approved 'Ama Odisha Nabin Odisha' scheme under which measures will be taken to augment rural infrastructure, leading to accelerated growth as well as to promote, preserve and protect the Jagannath culture and tradition of the state, an official release stated.
"This is a first-of-its-kind policy that intends to introduce a series of progressive and pragmatic measures to address the challenges of unplanned and unregulated urbanisation," said the Chief Minister's Office (CMO) press release.
