The President of the Foreign Affairs Committee of United Kashmir People's National Party (UKPNP), Jamil Maqsood, expressed grave concerns about the ongoing human rights abuses in Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK).
In their statement, the UKPNP leaders mentioned that the resolution passed on July 19, 1947, by the Muslim Conference advocating for Kashmir's accession to Pakistan continues to stir controversy, as it is deemed illegitimate by the majority.
Sardar Nasir Aziz Khan, the spokesperson for the UKPNP, also demanded that the administration must stop using "brutal force" and filing charges against peaceful protestors of PoJK.
