As per the official press release, the tour was planned, organised and executed by the Assam Rifles and aimed to provide these cadets with a deeper understanding of the North Eastern states.
The Assam Rifles concluded the tour to Shillong, Guwahati and Tezpur, organized for children from remote schools in Cachar, Tamenglong and Noney districts of Assam and Manipur under Operation SADBHAVANA, stated an official release.
A 13-day National Integration Tour (NIT), conducted by the Assam Rifles, provided a never-before-experience to 26 Manipuri students, including 12 girls, a platform to share insights, experiences, and ideas aimed at furthering the objectives of national integration and harmony.

The Assam Rifles flagged off a National Integration Tour for tribal students of Gariya Academy Tentui Ompi School from Agartala (Tripura) to the Director General of the Assam Rifles Headquarters in Shillong on Monday. The tour will culminate on December 24.
