Amid the controversy over Tirupati Prasadam, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu on Sunday criticised former Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, accusing him of allowing non-sacred activities in Tirumala during his five-year tenure.
Amid the row over the Tirupati Prasadam quality having been compromised by the use of substances like vegetable oil, and animal fat emerged, the priests and the devotees at the Chilkur Balaji Temple on the outskirts of Hyderabad conducted Prayaschitta Pradakshinam on Sunday.
"Not only that government has destroyed Amaravathi but also counter-attacked those who raised their voice and spread false propaganda against such persons," he said.
