Nagpur Police have arrested 50 people, including seven minors, in connection with the recent violence in the city, Commissioner Dr Ravinder Singal said on Wednesday.

His remarks come as tensions rise amid violence in Nagpur over the demand to remove Aurangzeb's tomb situated in the Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (Aurangabad) district of Maharashtra.
Speaking to ANI, Bhaskar Jadhav said, "I condemn the Nagpur incident and the incident of misbehaviour with the women police. I also condemn the stone pelting of the police personnel. The government should take strict action against the perpetrators."
Responding to the FIR against people from Bajrang Dal and Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), Nagpur violence, SP MP Ram Gopal Yadav said, "There will be action against people who incited riots."
