Tamil Nadu Governor RN Ravi on Thursday, attacked proscribed outfit Popular Front of India (PFI), labelling it as a 'dangerous organisation' which is trying to disrupt peace and development.
Attacking the Bharat Jodo Yatra, the BJP leader said Rahul Gandhi himself had admitted that there is no atmosphere of hatred in the country, indicating that the yatra has no motive.
"You have to understand the context. It was a very tense atmosphere. The Governor was made to feel unwelcome. If you look at the scenes unfolding before the Governor spoke, the Speaker even did not condemn the members who were shouting," Annamalai said.
He said Congress' Bharat Jodo Yatra is useless since it lacks a clear vision. The BJP leader said Rahul Gandhi himself had admitted that there is no atmosphere of hatred in the country, indicating that the march is of no motive.
The Tamil Nadu Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) chief K Annamalai once again reiterated that the 'Sethusamudram' project "fails" on multiple fronts, one of which is causing damage to the 'Ram Setu' bridge.
Annamalai said PM Modi blurred the line between "outsider" and regional identity line and pioneered being accepted in Tamil Nadu despite being from outside the state.
The tableau, which had pictures of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi and current Chief Minister MK Stalin, said 'Tamil Nadu Vaazhga'-- Long Live Tamil Nadu.
The DMK allies stated that the Governor did not give ascent to the bills which were passed in State assembly and the parties decided to boycott tomorrow's Republic Day Governor High tea.
