Nationalist Congress Party (SP) MP Supriya Sule along with other party leaders held silent protest over Beed Sarpanch Murder case and said that they will continue to fight for the justice.
Shiv Sena MP Naresh Mhaske on Tuesday staged a protest in Thane over the murder of Beed sarpanch Santosh Deshmukh, demanding strict action against the accused.
Following the resignation of Maharashtra Minister Dhananjay Munde, NCP-SCP MLA Rohit Pawar on Tuesday said that justice for Santosh Deshmukh, the sarpanch of Massajog village in Beed district, led to this outcome.

In a post on X, Munde asserted that it has been his demand from the very first day that the accused in Beed Sarpanch murder case should get harshest punishment.
The accused, Bhuvan Joshi, was apprehended after an undercover head-constable posed as a momo seller to confirm his identification. Joshi had been absconding since the murder of the 17-year-old boy in Delhi's Uttam Nagar area.
Delhi's Karkardooma Court has acquitted five accused of abducting a man and beating him to death 15 years back in 2010. The court said that there were serious lapses in the investigation.
An Indian national, Shahzadi, was convicted on charges of murder of an infant and sentenced to death in the UAE. The highest court of the UAE, the Court of Cassation, upheld the sentence, as per the statement.
Following the arrest of one accused in connection with the murder case of Congress worker Himani Narwal, Krishan Kumar Rao, ADGP/Rohtak Range on Monday said that they will take the remand of the accused and all things will be verified during the investigation.
