Delhi police arrested a man in connection with the Bhajanpura murder case, in which 36-year-old Harpreet Gill was shot dead in Delhi's Subhash Vihar, Bhajanpura area, an official said.
The Supreme Court on Tuesday referred Vikas Yadav's plea seeking consideration for remission to a three-judge bench and listed the matter for October 3 for further hearing.
"The applicant/respondent No. 2 is permitted to appear virtually through video conferencing on 01.09.2023 for hearing on the question of sentence, instead of the physical appearance, as directed vide judgment dated 18.08.2023," the top court said in its Friday order.
