"Uddhav Thackeray and Raj Thackeray will contest municipal elections together and win. The combined strength of Uddhav Thackeray and Raj Thackeray, along with the unity of the Marathi people, is the key to victory in elections," Sanjay Raut said.

Former Haryana Chief Minister and senior Congress leader Bhupinder Singh Hooda on Wednesday downplayed the BJP's performance in the Haryana Municipal Elections, stating that the party had won previously as well.
Describing it as a "historic victory," the Union Minister expressed gratitude to the people in the state and attributed it to the good governance of the Nayab Singh Saini government in Haryana.
The BJP in Haryana has swept the elections to local bodies, with its candidates winning mayoral posts in nine places, including Rohtak, Sonipat, Gurugram, Faridabad, Panipat, Yamunanagar, Ambala, Hisar and Karnal. The voting took place on March 2.
Haryana Minister Anil Vij on Wednesday said that Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has won 25 seats out of 32 in the municipal elections. The ruling party also managed to win the mayoral post from Ambala, along with eight other places in the state.
"In the municipal elections, BJP won 25 of the 32 seats and the Mayor seat with a thumping majority (in Ambala). People of Ambala Cantt have rewarded me for my efforts to develop the area," Vij told reporters.
"Our local body government and this triple-engine government will play a crucial role in fulfilling PM Narendra Modi's vision of 'Viksit Bharat'," Saini told reporters.
Asserting that people's issues would be resolved, she apprised people of the assurances given by Union Minister Krishan Pal Gurjar, saying there would be no obstacles in implementing schemes for the people.
Counting of votes for municipal elections is underway across multiple districts, including Gurugram, Sirsa, Jhajjar, and Karnal, after voting took place on March 2.
Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini addressed a 'panna pramukhs' gathering in Panipat on Thursday. The event was held at the MJR ground situated in sector 24 and urged the BJP workers to gather in the upcoming municipal corporation elections with full energy.
