In light of heightened security measures, the Mumbai Police has imposed a strict ban on the use of drones and other remote-controlled flying devices across the city from May 5 to June 3.
The Mumbai Police on Saturday issued an order prohibiting the use of firecrackers, fireworks, and rockets within the limits of Brihanmumbai from May 11 to June 9 due to tensions between India and Pakistan in the aftermath of Pahalgam terror attack.
According to the Mumbai police, the threat was made last night via a phone call to Sahar airport's hotline, warning that a bomb had been placed on the aircraft.
"During the investigation, it was found that MOUs for a total of 9 properties were executed unilaterally. Some MOUs were signed by unauthorized individuals, and even when contractors had signed, the terms were highly one-sided," read a statement from the Mumbai Police.
According to Deputy Commissioner of Police, Navi Mumbai, Rashmi Nandedkar, all three of the Pakistani nationals were Hindus and came to India on temprorary visas.
