Congress leader Manickam Tagore on Monday gave an adjournment motion notice in Lok Sabha and expressed concern over the clean chits given to Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar and Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu in high-profile cases.
Earlier, TMC MP Kalyan Banerjee suggested that one strong leader is needed to lead the INDIA bloc following the defeat of Congress in the Haryana and Maharashtra assembly polls. He further said that the opposition alliance should be stronger to take on the BJP.
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Bansuri Swaraj criticized the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government in Delhi, accusing it of failing to implement beneficiary schemes like the Ayushman Bharat Yojana, which she said has led to anger among the residents of 'sewa basti' areas.
"The kind of statements being made by the people there should not be made. People do not have the brains to think about what should be said and when it should be said," Ram Gopal Yadav said.
