On being asked if a Congress candidate will be able to defeat Union Minister Scindia from Guna constituency, Ramesh said, "The way Jyotiraditya Scindia lost elections in 2019, he will lose the same way in 2024 as well."
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav expressed joy after Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Saturday released its first list of 195 candidates, including 24 candidates from Madhya Pradesh for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
Former CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan will contest from Vidisha constituency while Union Ministers Jyotiraditya Scinda, Virendra Khatik and Faggan Singh Kulaste will contest from Guna, Tikamgarh (SC) and Mandla (ST) constituencies respectively.
"Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is here and I am going to join the Bharat Jodo Nyaya Yatra. It is the best medium to connect with people. In Madhya Pradesh, the yatra will continue for five days and I will give my time to it," Nath told reporters here.
